    All you need is to is purchase a MIDI-USB cable, and output from the synth to your computer. Yes, it will work quite well with Ableton.

    you mention you CAN save your OWN sounds. IS that 128 patches you can SAVE? I understand that you have to edit & lose the factory preset to do this. Can you ‘reset’ the whole thing later to get ALL the factory presets back?
